SPECIAL COVID ANNOUNCEMENT

To: All our customers, fans, friends and employees and their families –

As with all of you, this past year has been a very tough balance between working and keeping everyone safe during this COVID Pandemic. We have implemented many protocols to insure the health and safety of our employees while at work – something that we feel as employers is very important.

The Lockdown of March 2020 hit us very hard. We reached back and planned and found a way to reopen (once printing was declared essential in California). We don’t allow outside vendors into our building. We practice a mandatory mask policy. Every employee, from owners to line workers, has his or her temperature taken daily, as well as some questions about contact and how they feel. We took it (and continue to take it) very serious. We felt safe, we felt strong, we had a purpose during this time of so much uncertainty. We were a Team. We have been very proud of what we and our employees have been able to accomplish, not only going back to full capacity – but actually hiring more employees and expanding our capacity to serve our industry, you our customers, and help our family of employees continue to work to support their families as well.

For 10 plus months, we did not have a single case of the COVID or Coronavirus of any employee or contacts to our building. Perhaps it was the “Holiday Surge”, we don’t know, but with the coming of the New Year, we had our first case. We did what we needed to do, and that employee isolated at home and is doing well. Then another, and another – now it has crippled our Finishing Department. Currently, we are operating at very reduced capacity in Finishing – and it is effecting all of our Departments throughout the shop. For the health and safety of our Team Members and our commitment to be around for you in the future, we will be idling our manufacturing until 1 February, at which point we should be able to return to work at or near full strength. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to serving you in a healthy 2021.
